About the Sales Development Representative, Partners position

Position Overview: The Sales Development Representative (SDR), Partners, will play a critical role in driving growth by identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with potential partners. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for building relationships, and is eager to grow within a partner-focused sales and development career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential partners within the MSP and Microsoft Partner ecosystem.
  • Proactively reach out to prospective partners via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to initiate conversations.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs, goals, and challenges and aligning them with our value proposition.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or demos for senior partner managers and leaders.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of interactions and progress in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to follow up on campaigns and inbound leads.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, partner needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Work with internal teams to provide insights and feedback to improve partner outreach strategies and materials.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably within the SaaS or technology sector.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem or experience working with MSPs/Microsoft Partners is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
